1. Do I need any prior crochet experience to join the Amigurumi 101 Workshop?

No. This is a beginner-friendly amigurumi workshop designed for complete beginners. You don’t need any crochet knowledge—we start from the basic stitches and guide you step-by-step until you can make toys independently.

2. What is the minimum age to join this online crochet workshop?

The workshop is suitable for anyone aged 9 years and above. The pace is simple, supportive, and ideal for beginners.

3. Is the Amigurumi 101 workshop live or recorded?

This is a live online workshop. Classes are conducted on:
Monday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday — 2 PM to 4 PM IST

4. Will I receive recordings of the crochet classes?

Attending live classes is mandatory to complete the course successfully.
If you miss a class, you can reschedule and attend the same session in another batch.

You also receive lifetime access to reference videos (stitches, techniques, basics) through a shared Drive link.

5. How many amigurumi projects will I make during this beginner workshop?

You will complete four projects:

1. 2D Multi-use Pouch

2. De-Stress Ball

3. Amigurumi Turtle

4. Assignment Project (pattern provided)

Your completed assignment project qualifies you for the Certificate of Completion.

6. What is the Assignment Project in this course?

The assignment is a beginner-friendly amigurumi toy pattern provided by Loombastic Studios.
You follow the pattern independently, submit a picture, and receive your certificate upon completion.

7. What if I miss a live amigurumi class?

You can reschedule and attend the missed session in another batch.
Plus, the workshop includes lifetime reference videos to support your practice.

8. What materials are required to join the workshop?

Indian students receive a Starter Kit shipped to their home.
International students receive a detailed material list to source items locally.

9. What exactly will I receive in the Starter Kit?

Your kit includes:

• 6 balls of yarn

• 3 mm crochet hook

• Thread cutter

• Tapestry needle set

• Cotton stuffing

• Black embroidery floss

• Stitch markers

The kit is mandatory because it helps everyone learn with uniform materials and follow demonstrations accurately.
It is already included in the workshop fee.

10. Can I join the workshop without the material kit?

For Indian students, the kit is mandatory and cannot be removed from the course—it’s essential for effective learning.
International students will receive a material list instead.

11. When will my batch begin after registration?

After your kit is delivered, simply inform us.
Our Academy Manager will contact you and help you choose your preferred class slots. Since you’re required to attend 2 live classes a week out of the 4 available days, your schedule will be planned completely according to your convenience.

12. Will I be able to make amigurumi toys independently after the course?

Yes! The workshop is designed to help you become an independent amigurumi crafter, capable of reading patterns, understanding shaping, and creating toys from scratch.

13. Will I receive a certificate for the amigurumi workshop?

Yes. After completing the Assignment Project, you receive an official Certificate of Completion from Loombastic Studios.

18. I already know basic crochet stitches. Should I join Amigurumi 101 or the intermediate course?

Even if you know some crochet basics, we recommend starting with Amigurumi 101.
Crochet and amigurumi are different craft forms.
Amigurumi involves shaping, working in the round, invisible decreases, toy assembly, and pattern reading—skills taught only in the beginner toy-making course.

Most students become fully confident after Amigurumi 101 and may not require the intermediate course immediately.

19. Can I join the workshop if I have never held a crochet hook before?

Absolutely! Many of our students start from zero.
We teach slowly, clearly, and with step-by-step demonstrations—perfect for complete beginners.
